"Desafios Porto" was a groundbreaking initiative by the Porto municipality, designed to harness the collective intellect of its citizens towards the city's development.
Create a video that not only explains the initiative — but inspires participation.
In collaboration with João Salcedo, a musician renowned for his brilliant compositions, we embarked on a creative journey to find the perfect concept. Through brainstorming sessions, we discovered that the most profound ideas often emerge from the simplest moments.
Making tea. Working late. A coffee in an inspiring place. The spark can come from anywhere.
Our concept revolved around the fusion of everyday sounds with music, symbolising the spark of inspiration in daily routines. João composed a unique tune combining these sounds with the melodic strums of a ukulele — both engaging and emblematic of the creative process.
The project was further enriched by the participation of Miguel Araújo, a renowned singer/songwriter, whose presence added a layer of depth and appeal to the final scene.

The video stands as a vibrant call to action, inviting the community to engage with their city's development. It highlights the power of collective thinking and the beauty of everyday inspiration.
